UniPath is a guidance platform that helps South African learners calculate their APS score and explore university, TVET and college study options. By creating an account or using UniPath, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
UniPath provides guidance based on programme and admission information available to us at the time. APS scores, eligibility results, entry requirements, application dates and fees shown in the app are for planning purposes. UniPath does not guarantee admission to any institution or programme. Final admission decisions always belong to the relevant institution, and institutions may change requirements, dates and fees at any time. Always confirm final requirements and deadlines directly with the university or college before applying.
Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, and for activity under your account. You can update your information at any time from My Profile, and delete your account from Settings.
Your APS score and study options are calculated from the subjects and marks you enter. Only you can see your marks and results. It is your responsibility to enter your marks correctly and to verify your official results against your report card or statement of results.
Admission requirements, application dates and application fees in UniPath are compiled from official institution sources and are labelled with their verification status. Where information is not confirmed, the app clearly says "Not confirmed" rather than estimating.
"Apply" links open the official website of the relevant institution in your browser. Those websites are operated by the institutions themselves โ once you leave UniPath, their terms and privacy policies apply. UniPath is not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party websites.
The UniPath AI assistant provides informational guidance only. It does not make admission decisions, cannot guarantee admission, and must not be relied on as a substitute for official information. Where the assistant does not have verified information, it will say so. Always confirm eligibility and requirements with the institution.
UniPath, its content, data and design are owned by UniPathTech (Pty) Ltd. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial study planning. You may not copy, resell or reuse our programme datasets or content without written permission.
Do not misuse UniPath: do not attempt to disrupt the service, gain unauthorised access, misrepresent your academic record, scrape or harvest data, or use the app for any unlawful purpose.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or misuse the platform. You may delete your account at any time from Settings โ your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
We aim to keep UniPath available and accurate, but we cannot promise uninterrupted availability. We may add, change or remove features, and may update these terms as UniPath grows. Continued use after a change means you accept the latest version.
UniPath is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, UniPathTech (Pty) Ltd is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app, including decisions made in reliance on eligibility results, APS calculations, programme information or AI guidance.
